What the app reads
With your permission, Linda Steps reads one type of data from Apple Health: your step count. It adds up today's steps and shows the total in the app and on your Apple Watch face. It never writes or changes anything in Apple Health.
Where your data goes
Nowhere. Everything happens on your iPhone and Apple Watch:
- Your step data is never sent to us or to anyone else. The app has no servers and no accounts.
- The app keeps only today's latest step total on your device, so your watch face still has a number while Health is briefly unavailable (for example, while your watch is locked). It is replaced each time the count updates and deleted when you delete the app.
- There is no advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party code in the app.
- Health data is never used for marketing or advertising, and is never sold or shared.
Your choices
You decide whether Linda Steps can read your steps, and you can change your mind at any time. On your iPhone, open the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps › Linda Steps, and turn Steps on or off. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your devices.
Children
Linda Steps doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
